My symptoms include constant mattering and tearing, floaters, extreme redness that doesn't get any better then pink, and painful and extreme itching. What disease could this be? Any ideas? I also have very dry and sensitive skin and sometimes very minor skin rashes. My doctors are unable to diagnose anything nor find an eye drop that is able to clear up my symptoms. I have had 3 major eye surgeries in the past and every year these symptoms seem to get worse. If you have any info on what this could be PLEASE e-mail me @ angie_sue50@hotmail.com

I have no idea what you have but your symptoms are exactly what I went through for the past 5 years up until summer 08. There were times I could not even see out of my eyes and the discomfort was unbearable. I tried drops, creams, oitments, antihistamins and allergy drugs. I went to dermatoligists, opthamolagists and allergists to no avail. The summer of 08 I went to a chinese acupuncturist for a problem with chronic pain in my elbow, while there he said 'you have very sore eyes and runny nose' at the time they were not bothering me and my eyes weren't even red! I said I had allergies and that no one could figure what was wrong (one said no allergy because at times it was only in 1 eye - couldn't happen. The allergist said go to a dermatologist, who said go to an eye doctor, who said go to an allergist and round and round we go!!!) He proceeded to put needles all around my eyes, in my face, on the end of my nose, left me for about 15 min. fiddled with needles again, left me for another 15 min. I left and went home. From that day on I have not had another problem with my eyes OR another allergy attack (something I have suffered with since I was a child - I'm 56). Don't know how it worked - just know it did - hundreds of years of chinese medicine can't be bad IT WORKED- with NO DRUGS!

Your are facing this problem due to some allergy or side effect of any medication. need to consult an eye specialist. Some time due to dandruff or due to pollution such problem can occur. Avoid watching TV or working on computer for long hour. Don't give stress on eyes.
